On Sunday, Pastors Amy and Dave announced they will be leaving WBC around Easter time, for new roles in Norfolk. Dave has a new job with the Methodists in a village called Upwell, near Wisbech, to start a new outdoor garden church. Amy has been appointed by the Eastern Baptist Association to be their Director of Vocations and Ministerial Formation (this involves many things but includes mentoring new and potential ministers in the region). Amy and Dave say: 'Leaving WBC will be really difficult for all of us. We love this church so much, as well as the school and the local community, so we find it hard to imagine being somewhere else. WBC is a place we love, full of people we love, and has become a special home for us. But we are also very excited by the challenges that lay in store for us, and can see God's hand very clearly though it all as we head to a new mission field. Please pray for us in this transition time, and especially for our kids, as we navigate moving somewhere new'Our Next Church Meeting will be on Sunday 18th Jan, after the Sunday morning service. As part of this meeting there will be the opportunity for a Questions and Answers session regarding Amy and Dave leaving, and how a pastoral vacancy works . If you wish to submit any questions in advance, then please do so by emailing info@wbchurch.co.uk.Dave and Amy are also happy to chat with anyone, please do get in touch with them if you have any thoughts or questions. ...
