WBC, established in 1840 was once a church within the village of Walsgrave on Sowe, but now Walsgrave is a suburb and very much a part of the City of Coventry – within walking distance of the University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) and adjacent to residential, retail, entertainment and office areas.
Located on the A4600, a main arterial road serving Coventry, we are the watchmen over what is sometimes referred to as the “eastern gateway to the city”.
The church has transitioned over recent years to become a vibrant multicultural and multi-generational congregation with over 15 nationalities represented.
We are passionate about creating links and a support network within our local community to serve the needs of all age groups and walks of life in our area.
