WBC, established in 1840 was once a church within the village of Walsgrave on Sowe, but now Walsgrave is a suburb and very much a part of the City of Coventry – within walking distance of the University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) and adjacent to residential, retail, entertainment and office areas.
Located on the A4600, a main arterial road serving Coventry, we are the watchmen over what is sometimes referred to as the “eastern gateway to the city”.
We strive to be: a Place of Passionate Prayer, Celebration and Worship, Teaching and Transformation, Connecting People to Jesus and One Another, Grounded in our Community and City.
We are passionate about creating links and a support network within our local community to serve the needs of all age groups and walks of life in our area. Groups are not able to meet in the building at the moment, but as soon as this is possible we want to ensure we are meeting the needs of everyone in our community. So please do get in touch if you would like to be involved in a particular type of activity.
We continue to look for ways to bless and care for our local community, and happily welcome everyone through our doors.
